Job Description
The Information Technology Help Desk Intern will learn how deliver supreme customer service while supporting rue21’s Corporate, Distribution Center, Stores, and Field Associates. The position will provide exposure to one or more of the following computer disciplines: Service Desk, PC Break/Fix, Desktop Software Support, Computer Operations, and others.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Complete a collaborative group project and presentation of a business initiative
- Complete special projects as assigned
- Provides supreme customer service while supporting rue21 corporate, distribution center, stores, and field associates.
- Responds to telephone calls, emails and personnel requests for technical support in a courteous manner
- Performs post-resolution follow-ups to help requests
- Researches and resolves technical issues
- Works with system and hardware vendors to resolve issues
- Escalates issues requiring specialized technical knowledge to the appropriate systems, development and support personnel
- Documents, tracks and monitors issues to ensure a timely resolution
This is a paid internship (40 hours per week). The duration of the Summer Internship Program is approximately 11 weeks beginning May 2020
