About the Role:

Salon IAOMO LLC in Pittsburgh, PA is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Salon Assistant to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity to break into the beauty industry, learn from talented stylists, and grow your passion for hair and beauty in a dynamic salon environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist stylists and colorists with client services including shampooing, conditioning, and blow-drying

Greet and check in clients, ensuring a welcoming and positive salon experience

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon floor, styling stations, and back bar

Mix and apply color formulas under the supervision of licensed stylists

Schedule appointments and manage front desk operations as needed

Restock and inventory salon products and supplies

Support the team during busy periods to ensure smooth salon operations

Requirements:

Prior salon, beauty, or customer service experience is a plus but not required

Passion for the beauty industry and eagerness to learn

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment

Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

Cosmetology school enrollment or licensure is a bonus
