    SBM Offshore USA, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Marine and Drilling Engineer III  in Houston, Texas. In this role you will be responsible for: Marine systems design; preparation of datasheets and technical specifications for offshore and marine equipment; marine/drilling equipment sizing calculations; preparing marine and drilling systems schematics, PFDs, and P&IDs; providing calculation reports on marine and drilling systems; reviewing clients' basis of designs, standards, specifications, and reports; preparing new, refurbished, and demolished equipment lists; performing piping flow and surge analysis using Flowmaster.

     

    Requirements: Master's degree in Marine Engineering or related and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or two (2) years of experience with engineering piping systems, piping drawings, and preparation of PFDs and P&IDs. In lieu, would accept a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or related and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience with engineering piping systems, piping drawings, and preparation of PFDs and P&IDs.
