    The Role: Sensus, a Xylem brand, seeks to hire a Senior Manager, System and Solution Testing will manage and lead a team of skilled and experienced test engineers to deliver Sensus products and commitments on time with high quality.  Products include water, gas, and electric meters, Automatic Meter Infrastructure (AMI) smart points, in-home-displays, installation tools, head-end systems, and more. The candidate will also work closely with Product Development, and SW Engineering to insure the delivery of quality products to Sensus customers. If you are excited and passionate to work on state-of-the art technology, we want to hear from you!

    We want someone who:

    Has demonstrated the ability to build and motivate teams, lead by example for cross-team collaboration with people internal and external to the organization. This test leader must have a proven track record of leadership for continuous cycle-over-cycle product and processes improvements. In particular, analyze software fault data and fix-on-fix rates (Root Cause Analyses; Key Learning’s; Retrospectives) and the development processes to lead and drive very focused quality improvement programs across all aspects of  engineering processes, tools, people, automation, product, etc.   

    • Meet all product/release delivery commitments -- on time with World Class Quality
    • Lead and drive engineering strategic cycle-over-cycle product realization improvements.
    • Lead change management within the test organization
    • Strong collaboration and teamwork to seamlessly work into the larger test teams and across    multiple development teams within engineering to assess issues and problems and delopving solutions.
    • Ability to plan and manage multiple concurrent projects and proactively anticipate/mitigate risks
    • Experience in both waterfall and agile test methodologies
    • Proven track record in delivery integrated end to end solutions based on an automation framework to maximize test efficiency.

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience managing test engineers in hardware, firmware and software validation. 
    • BS in Engineering/Computer Science,  PMP or Six Sigma certification a plus
    • Emphasis on first line manager skills. 
    • Excellent program and project management skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills. 
    • Ability to work in a multi-location, team environment.
