    THE ROLE:  Sensus, a Xylem brand, seeks to hire a RMA Test Operator who will work as part of the Quality group to support various RMA activities including testing returned units and determining root-cause. The ideal candidate for this position is a highly motivated individual responsible for triage testing, upgrading and evaluating returned products by understanding potential issues based on feedback from customers. Strong attention to detail is critical and the ability to follow established evaluation procedures for high volume  returns and capable of detailed data collection of findings

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Test, diagnose, and evaluate product issues using engineering analysis techniques and tools.
    • Must be able to communicate issues effectively in both oral and written terms when testing, diagnosing and evaluating returned products for customers and internally with co-workers.
    • Stress testing of systems and components; good working knowledge of electronic device testing equipment, fixtures and trouble-shooting procedures.
    • Appreciation for basic laboratory safety and adherence to best practices regarding industrial hygiene and workplace safety.
    • Ability to use general Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint …)
    • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations required.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Associates degree (2 yr.) in Electrical Engineering Technology or similar related field, or High School diploma plus applicable Military Avionics/Electronics Training/Qualification or equivalent and related experience.
    • Extremely dependable and productivity minded; able to work with minimal supervision.
    • Highly organized and assertive; capable of managing multiple competing priorities.
    • Excellent mechanical and electrical aptitude/interest and manual dexterity.
    • Work effectively with diverse team members in a collaborative team environment.
    • Salesforce experience a plus.
