    Role:   The North American Sales Analyst – Treatment position will be responsible for identifying, maintaining, analyzing all relevant information for sales and project management teams for the Treatment business segment and be responsible for the Treatment project forecast. This position will work with Sales Operations, Sales Management, and Project Management teams to help establish/streamline policies and procedures throughout the region, support best practices in sales forecasting, reporting, and communications. The position will monitor sales and order activities that support the region across various brands and drive performance improvements / LSS as well as research and quantify new opportunities. The position will enable the Territory Sales Managers to be more effective and efficient in driving sales against performance objectives and key initiatives. This position will require excellent verbal, presentation, and influence skills not only to collaborate with Territory Sales Managers, but also collaborate with upper management across the Xylem Organization. Position will be based in Charlotte, NC.

     

    Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:

    • Develop, improve and maintain key sales and service metrics/dashboard reports as well as appropriate analysis
    • Ownership of Treatment forecasts for Orders, Sales, and Margin including identification and quantification of significant risks and opportunities.
    • Implements and manages reports and dashboards in Salesforce.com and Power BI ensuring sales reps and leaders have access to key data required to successfully manage the business.
    • Drive best practices and process improvements
    • Lead or participate special projects to support the growth of the business.
    • Provide support to the Sales leadership team as needed.
    • Preparation of monthly reporting, presentations, goal deployment plans (GDP), etc.
    • Learn sales operations and processes across all brands to help identify and reduce complexity with the sales team.
    • Ownership of  Orders / Sales /Margin analysis – gathering data, modeling, implementing processes
    • Create geographic maps to solve problems, present data, and store information across all Water Utilities Brands.
    • Exposure to corporate confidential and highly sensitive documents.  Must possess ability to handle confidential material without compromise.
    • Ability to manage deadlines and successfully complete tasks with a sense of urgency.

     

     

     

    Minimum Qualifications: Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, or Business
    • At least 2-5 years of related work experience is required.
    • Experience in finance and/or sales operations
    • Experience with KPI tools
    • Proficient in SalesForce.com, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
    • Must have analytical capabilities and strong attention to detail
    • Experience with CRM, ERP, and BI Tools

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Green Belt Certification Preferred.
    • Possess strong time management skills with respect to planning, scheduling and expediting projects.
    • Strong internal customer focus and interaction to ensure optimum relationships
    • Data analysis
    • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to engage in strategic plan development, deliver results/reports and business plans within assigned deadlines.

    Physical Demands

    • Light lifting, office environment
    • Must occasionally lift/ transport up to 50 pounds.

     

    Work Environment

    • Office:  Standard office equipment; work usually performed in an office setting free from any disagreeable elements.

       Travel requirement:

    • Travel:  As required to fulfill the duties listed above. Other travel as needed or required by the company to branches or sales / training events.
