    THE ROLE: Sensus seeks to hire a Sr. Software Development and Validation Engineer. They will be responsible for designing and implementing test automation and simulation solutions for very large IOT and smart-grid networks.     ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Develop and maintain automated test and simulation environments to validate management systems for some of the world’s largest smart-grid networks.
    • Create and execute comprehensive test plans for complex, solution verification.
    • Work cooperatively with customers, solution’s marketing, and broad solution development teams to insure solution validation and customer satisfaction.
    • Systems integration.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
    • 5+ years of experience in a software development and software verification.
    • Experience working in a Linux development environment.
    • IP networking experience.
    • Ability to identify and clearly document issues for resolution
    • Effective communicator.
    • Works collaboratively within a team environment of engineers to meet aggressive goals and high quality standards
    • Demonstrated experience working with cross functional teams

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Broad systems integration skill set.
    • Knowledge of WEB based test automation frameworks.
    • Relational database experience.
    • Use of statistical methods to analyze large data sets.
    • Experience with RF networks.
    • Large system simulation background.
    • User interface development.
