The role of the Outdoor Water Monitoring Specialist will be to communicate with customers through training events and site visits, create high-quality and highly technical marketing content, support the sales and integration teams in understanding their customers’ needs, and identify new opportunities for existing products and new product concepts. This “expert in the field” is a critical liaison between product management and the customer base. The Outdoor Water Monitoring Specialist will not be a mere technician: there are plenty of technically-adept people who can set up the instrumentation. Rather, we are looking for candidates with the ability to understand the research and applications that customers are conducting, so that we better understand customer motivations and needs. A clear understanding of the importance of data quality, instrument specifications as they impact outcomes and why customers make specific requests for products or product improvements is paramount.

OFFICE: Standard office equipment; work usually performed in an office setting free from any disagreeable elements. OUTDOOR: Field site work that includes streams/lakes/coastal environments.
