    Godwin, a Xylem brand, offers a broad product line of fully automatic self-priming pumps used in temporary and permanent applications.  With a full range of diesel and electric pumps available to purchase or rent, Godwin pumps are used for dewatering and liquids transfer in mining, constructions, municipal and industrial projects around the world.

    THE ROLE: Godwin, a Xylem brand is currently looking for a field operator to complete setup & tear down of pump & piping systems. Candidate needs to have Fusion certification & HDPE experience.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES/PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance and servicing as directed on Godwin fleet equipment between each rental. 
    • Perform an initial inspection of Godwin fleet equipment for possible damages; diagnose damages; report damages to Service Manager. 
    • Create an accurate and legible parts and repair list for assigned fleet equipment. 
    • Safely and effectively operate a company vehicle for extended periods of time throughout cities, job sites, major highways and interstates (including tunnels and bridges) and in all weather conditions
    • Prior pipe fusion experience with pipe diameters ranging from 4 inch to 36 inch.
    • Review list of parts with Service Manager and obtain approval to continue with servicing and repair.
    • Repair damaged equipment. 
    • Test all repaired equipment for proper operation and quality. Perform preventative maintenance on shop equipment as directed (air dryer, chain saws, etc.). Perform related duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:

    • Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License
    • Capable of safely operating diesel powered hydraulic lifting equipment: i.e. forklifts, front end loaders, tow motors, etc.
    • Safely and effectively operate a company vehicle for extended periods of time throughout cities, job sites, major highways and interstates (including tunnels and bridges) and in all weather conditions
    • Prior pipe fusion experience with pipe diameters ranging from 4 inch to 36 inch.
