JOB TITLE: CLOUD CONSULTING PARTNER

CONSULTING PARTNER CLOUD TECHNOLOGY - JOB PROFILE

- IDEAS - ER&D Consulting Dallas, Mountain View, Seattle as base Location
RESPONSIBILITIES
- A Consulting Partner will be responsible for generating demand for the emerging Cloud adoption space primarily in NA geography and will also be part of delivering the solutions on client engagements by performing the analysis of current environment, gap assessment, feasibility for cloud strategy considering Technical/Business context, ROI and roadmap for implementation.
- Consulting Partners are expected to be thought leaders having pulse of latest trends and technologies and hands on experience to be able to drive programs in the chosen domain. In addition, Consulting Partner will participate in and support business development for our organization in the Engineering Research & Development business line with focus on Cloud strategy for software products and platform market segment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Consulting Partners are typically experienced professionals who are at the Senior Consultant level at consulting firms or have at least 15+ years of industry/consulting experience, some in a management role.
THE CONSULTING PARTNER IS EXPECTED TO:
- Have discussions / workshops with CXO/Senior business leaders
- Be a trusted partner to the decision makers for their cloud strategy
- Identify opportunities and define cloud adoption strategy and roadmap for high performance, scalable & reliable software products and enterprise software platform
- Propose the right cloud platform & engineering best practices given a business scenario
- Identify and propose cloud platform solution architecture & optimization strategies
- Should be able to do Cloud platform architecture consulting
- Perform capacity planning and forecasting for cloud product & platform under consideration
- Carve out extended engagements with customer post cloud adoption with varied business models
QUALIFICATIONS
CONSULTING PARTNER SHOULD POSSESS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
- 7+ years hand-on experience on Cloud platforms AWS/Azure/GCP
- Minimum 3 years of experience in consulting large cloud transformation programs especially in product modernization on cloud
- 15 + years of hands-on design, implementation, or consulting experience with large scale distributed systems
- Knowledge about APIs, Enterprise integration and Multi cloud strategy for products, and cloud native architecture
- Good understanding of Full stack development and hands-on experience in one such technology stack
- Experience conducting proof-of-concept, developing prototype and reference models
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate, make strategic recommendations to Sr. Mgmt as well as all levels of internal/external service partners
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
- Consulting Partners should be experienced in below Technical Skills
- Cloud Platforms IaaS/PaaS AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Knowledge on microservices based architecture, full stack engineering, cloud native computing concepts
- Knowledge of modern architecture patterns and engineering best practices
- Knowledge on containers, and container orchestration is a plus
- Good estimation, deliverable identification and planning for cloud-based engineering projects.
- Overall 15+ years of Industry experience and Engineering degree in Computer Science/Electronics is a must
- Good to have Industry Experience of One domain either Healthcare or Software Products or Automotive or Gaming Platform
