SNAPFI IS SEEKING A DYNAMIC INDIVIDUAL TO JOIN OUR TEAM.

POSITION

A Mortgage Underwriter must have experience with the processing and underwriting of FHA mortgage loans and be familiar with mortgage lending, mortgage investors and individual programs, mortgage insurance and basic policies and procedures. The candidate must have an in-depth understanding and the ability to underwrite mortgage loans per multiple investor requirements. Candidate must be familiar working in a fast paced, mortgage lending operations environment. This position requires the ability to customize responses and advice to reflect the specific conditions which may apply to each loan based on investor requirements. Candidate must pass criminal background check.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES)

• Must reside in CA, AZ, NV, or CO
• Must have the ability to meet scheduled deadline
• Must be a team player with ability to work independently
• Must possess good communication and phone skills
• Must be motivated and customer service oriented
• Must be detail-oriented and able to follow directions and guidelines
• Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Project organization and task management skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced/high volume environment
• A creative and innovative approach on problem solving issues
• Demonstrated ability to undertake preliminary research and analysis
• Ability to present and discuss information pertinent to an assignment
• Flexibility in meeting work requirements

EXPERIENCE

• Must have minimum 3 years of recent mortgage loan underwriting. FHA, VA and/or USDA a plus.
• Must have minimum of 5 years in mortgage industry.
