    CNC MACHINIST – 2ND SHIFT 

    RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Responsible for setting up, operating multi-axis CNC machines (mills and lathes) 5 or more Axis
    • Must be proficient at all types of drilling, tapping and milling and turning
    • Must be able to complete machining operations from blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions
    • Must have experience with complex, tight tolerance parts and various materials

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • High School diploma or GED
    • 5+ years of experience in set up, operation and programming of CNC Mill/lathe machines
    • Previous experience with G-code

    PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 

    • Horizontal Mill experience
    • Programming CNC machines
    • Experience running lathe machines
    • Ability to read and work off of a blueprint

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 

    • Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. unassisted
    • Able to work overtime and 2nd shift hours as needed
    • Able to stand for extended periods- 8 hours minimum
    • Must be able to stoop, bend, crawl, and being able to maneuver in tight spaces
    • Must be able to work overtime as needed
    • Repetitive movement, bending or twisting, using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls, exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting

    ITAR REQUIREMENTS: 

    • To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
