    5-AXIS CNC MACHINIST (2ND SHIFT)

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for setting up and operating a 5-Axis CNC machine
    • Proficient at all types of drilling, tapping and milling
    • Complete machining operations from blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions
    • Knowledge of complex, tight tolerance parts and various materials

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High School diploma or GED
    • 5 years of experience in set up and operation of 5-Axis CNC machines

    PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Ability to set up, trouble shoot and run 5-axis Mill-Turns
    • Experience with Siemens 840D controller along with relevant probing cycles
    • Experience with Okuma OSP controller
    • Experience with Renishaw Inspection+ probing software
    • Ability to read and work off of a blueprint

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. unassisted
    • Able to work overtime and 2nd shift hours as needed
    • Able to stand for extended periods- 8 hours min
    • Ability to stoop, bend, crawl, and being able to maneuver in tight spaces
    • Ability to work overtime as needed
    • Repetitive movement, bending or twisting, using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls, exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting

    • To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
