AVIONICS PCBA MANUFACTURING SPECIALIST
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execution of new product introduction builds across all workcenters
- Programming, loading and operation of automated equipment
- Manual soldering operations
- Conformal coat application
- Epoxy staking and underfill application
- Electromechanical assembly
- Performing electrical test and loading embedded software
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics manufacturing
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
- Experience producing J-STD-001 Class 3, IPC-A-610 Class 3 or
equivalent hardware
- Experience programming, loading and operating the following
automated equipment: paste printer, solder paste inspection (SPI),
pick and place, reflow oven, automated optical inspection (AOI),
selective solder, adhesive/coating dispenser and depanel router
- Experience performing manual soldering operations, touch up and
sensitive component installation
- Experience with conformal coat masking, material preparation and
application
- Experience applying epoxy staking and underfill on small devices
- Experience with torqueing, fastener and heatsink installation
- Experience with electrical test, in circuit and/or bed of nails
testing
- Ability to deliver high quality flight hardware in a fast paced NPI
environment
- Ability to adapt and process change quickly
- Excellent computer skills (Email, Microsoft Windows, ERP/MRP
systems, iOS, Executing Custom Developed Software)
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skills
- Ability to provide process and design improvement suggestions to
engineering
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work all shifts and available for overtime and
weekends as needed
- Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders,
bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and
stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs. unassisted
