WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Be accountable for the forecasting of content costs
- Develop & own a systematized approach (data treatment,
processes, dashboarding) to forecast analysis, including reporting
and monthly variance analysis
- Work with large datasets and automate processes
- Partner with accounting on month end close deliverables and
understand key drivers impacting both the P&L and balance sheet
- Assist in the development of management presentations supporting
forecast drivers & assumptions
- Support the Senior Manager of FP&A in, and also independently run,
ad-hoc projects to analyze and understand business implications of
proposed decisions
- Build sustainable relationships across the business and broader
finance department
WHO YOU ARE
- You have a degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or
another quantitative discipline
- You have the technical competence to perform advanced analytics:
coding skills (such as Python, Java, or Scala), experience with
analytics tools (Pandas, R, SPSS, SQL, Hadoop, or Excel) and
experience performing analysis with large datasets
- You have a passion for numbers, statistics combined with a strong
business and financial acumen as well as interest/experience in data
infrastructure and system architecture.
- You have relevant experience from working with analysis and/or
reporting at a consumer-oriented company in the digital space
- A big plus if you have experience working with planning software,
such as Adaptive, Anaplan, or others
- Excellent ability to build relationships and networks with multiple
functions, regions, and at all levels of the organization
- You are adaptable and have the ability to thrive in a rapidly
changing environment
