We’re looking for someone with an established record of client
leadership and revenue generation with a deep interest and passion for
online media, music and innovation. As US Agency Lead you will join our
Global Agencies team to lead these US relationships. You are someone
who leads by example, loves working with clients, collaborating and
developing relationships externally and internally, is well versed in
the advertising and media communities and has passion for it.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Guide the strategic direction of the holding company agency
relationships across the agency for the US, working closely with the
Global Holding Company Leads to localize global deals and plans, as
well as US local market team sellers
The role is focused around leading:
- Global-to-Local Alignment- Deepen Spotify’s local relationships
within the agency and grow revenue from respective agencies
- Upstream Agency Engagement - Engage with key clients on a senior
level, and deliver world class consultative customer service
- Agency & Spotify B2B Partnerships - Identify opportunities for
Spotify & US agencies for GTM partnership
- US Investment Leadership - Regular cadence & engagement across US
agency Investment Leads including QBR, rate card negotiations and
other key relationship activities
- Development of a strong understanding for agencies on how data,
content and products can be strategically positioned for Spotify
differentiation and value

- strategically use data and insights to inform business cadence as
well as client investment strategy and ad solutions through creative
storytelling
- are strategic with strong problem solving skills, analytical;
experience using quantitative and qualitative data
- have a deep understanding of the digital ecosystem and trends around
digital, programmatic, video best practices, opportunities,
and challenges.
- have an understanding in account planning, strategic planning, and
media buying as well as an understanding of creative agencies
- you have leadership experience with successful management skills and
lead by example
- thrive under deadlines yet can guide long-term strategic growth at
the same time
- have 12+ years experience in the following backgrounds: sales,
agency, data, client leadership, and/or start-up, etc
- have leadership experience with successful management skills and
lead by example
- will be based in our NY office. Estimated travel will be 20%
