We're searching for an experienced assistant general manager to help our general manager plan and oversee the hotel's day-to-day operations. When the general manager is unavailable, you will be in charge of supervising personnel, dealing with client problems, and ensuring that our customers enjoy a 5-star experience. Responsibilities: • Create the yearly hotel budget in collaboration with the general manager and department heads, and assess and adjust performance throughout the year to stay profitable • Propose adjustments that will increase hotel profitability by assessing department performance and identifying issue areas • Empower the human resources department to increase efforts for turnover management, employee motivation, and employee growth and retention by providing support • Consult with the general manager to ensure that all guest service standards are met daily • Ensure that all local, state, and federal rules and regulations, as well as any corporate or brand-established policies and practices, are followed Qualifications: • You must have 3 or more years of experience working in the hospitality field • Previous experience managing a team is required; preferably in a hospitality role such as department manager • Showcase exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service • A high school diploma or GED, and a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in hospitality management or a related field Compensation: $38,000
