Elliotrades is one of the most influential crypto and NFT channels on YouTube. Led by SuperFarm CEO Elliot Wainman, this media brand brings a massive competitive advantage to the overall business of SuperFarm.
Superfarm is the leading NFT marketplace and we are ramping up with new projects every day. We are poised to move ahead of the lookalike marketplaces in the coming months with significant projects launching that merge NFTs with art, collectibles, original IP and massive gaming communities.
To help us continue our growth, we're seeking an experienced YouTube Strategist to join our highly skilled team. From day one, the YouTube Strategist will have an immediate impact on the Elliotrades content strategy and our goal of building one of the largest crypto/NFT media brands on the internet. The ideal candidate has two primary traits:
- You MUST have advanced knowledge of NFTs and the crypto space at large
- You MUST be an expert in the strategic use of YouTube (qualitative and quantitative)
Additionally, the ideal candidate is someone that lives and breathes YouTube, is always looking for new and creative ways to improve video storytelling and distribution, knows how to drive audience engagement, and is eager to help us identify what we should try next. This role partners with our CEO and the face of the brand Elliotrades, our lead researcher and our lead producer. This opportunity offers a unique challenge of working with video content in one of the most exciting content categories in the world — crypto.

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE
- Define and execute a plan to grow the Elliotrades YouTube channel to 1M+ subscribers
- Support Ellio with streamlined workflow to make him (i.e one man) more scalable
- Build the necessary team to execute on growth goals
- Communicate with internal stakeholders through clear, data-driven reporting that informs creative direction
DAILY AND MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and optimize content calendar
- Monitor discussions and comments across the channel, as well as ID and engage new fan bases and communities
- Partner with social media manager to ensure consistency, economies of scale and amplification across all platforms
- Guide overall optimization of the channel, including creating and organizing video playlists, tagging and titling best practices, helping to add custom end cards, and working with design teams to update channel design elements
- Guide regular, data-driven editorial discussion of video strategy, recommendations, programming, and workflow
- Share weekly and monthly YouTube reports for key videos and overall channel performance to inform strategic direction
- Research and identify tent pole subjects for our unique brands, along with content recommendations and insights, to help promote the channel
- Conduct experiments to ID effective new strategies and tracking ongoing audience trends
- Curate research to create scalable content strategy and increase video output (goal is to double current output)
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 3-5 years experience strategizing for YouTube channels, ideally building data-driven video strategies
- Strong working knowledge of YouTube optimization best practices and analytics
- Understanding of digital video and how audiences watch and engage with it across many platforms
- Proven track record of audience growth on other channels
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once and collaborate effectively to bring ideas to life
- A lover of good video storytelling
- Passionate and educated about crypto, NFTs, DeFi, gaming and blockchain
- If you do not own crypto, have never traded Crypto, have never bought an NFT, don't follow the current NFT projects, have no clue what OpenSea is and/or don't understand how the blockchain works this job is NOT for you.
- Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience/knowledge
- Experience with data analysis
- Strong grasp of Excel and building spreadsheets to track channel performance
- Ability to present strategic initiatives clearly and concisely to executive team
- YouTube Certified a major plus
