    Position: Part-Time Acupuncturist to Full time (Full time once schedule ramps up)

    Location: Lakeview

    Hours: Typically Tuesday thru Friday (5-8 sessions per day) - Mutually agreed schedule

    Job Summary:

    We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Part-Time Acupuncturist to join our SUVARNA team. The successful candidate will provide exceptional acupuncture treatments to our clients, promoting holistic health and wellness.     Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough initial consultations with patients to understand their medical history, symptoms, and treatment goals.

    • Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs, incorporating acupuncture techniques and other complementary therapies if applicable.

    • Administer acupuncture treatments, ensuring the use of sterile needles, proper needling techniques, and adherence to safety protocols.

    • Provide holistic health advice, including lifestyle modifications, nutrition recommendations, and stress management techniques.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment notes, progress reports, and any relevant documentation.

    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, chiropractors, or massage therapists, to ensure integrated patient care.

    • Stay informed about the latest research, techniques, and developments in acupuncture, and continuously enhance professional knowledge and skills.

    • Uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, and patient confidentiality.

    • Adhere to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to acupuncture practice.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Valid certification or licensure as an acupuncturist from a recognized institution or governing body.

    • Demonstrated expertise and proficiency in acupuncture techniques, including needling, moxibustion, cupping, and other related modalities.

    • Strong knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles and theory, with the ability to apply them effectively in clinical practice.

    • Excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with patients.

    • Empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to help patients achieve optimal health and well-being.

    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

    • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

    Experience:

    • Previous experience practicing as an acupuncturist is preferred but not required. New graduates are welcome to apply.
