MARKETING SOLUTIONS SALES OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE (NEW YORK)

As a Sales Operations Associate for LinkedIn Marketing Solutions, you
will act as the subject-matter expert to executives and team members in
the global sales and operations team. You will be responsible for
planning, tracking and reporting on critical sales-enabling and
revenue-driving activities for a team that touches nearly half of
Marketing Solutions’ revenue. You will leverage your
relationship-building, analytical and strategic capabilities to become a
vital member of the LMS Sales Operations team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide insightful data and trend analysis, as well as accurate
reporting, allowing you to position yourself as the expert for the
agency sales team.
- Manage the creation and maintenance of automated dashboards that
will provide scalable insights to the agency sales team. Collaborate
with key stakeholders across the global sales teams to build and
continuously refine self-serve dashboards that enable
greater visibility.
- Lead and provide ongoing support for planning, quota-setting, and
compensation processes, ultimately defining the trajectory of
the team.
- Drive structured analysis of ad-hoc projects, partnering closely
with Agency Sales Ops Manager, senior leadership and
other stakeholders.
- Field ad hoc data requests from sales teams, with an eye
toward automation.
- Work closely with colleagues in business analytics, sales and ops to
ensure accurate data is available for stakeholders.
- Establish strong working relationships with business operations,
functional and sales leaders and systems teams, enabling
rapid impact.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BS degree in business or related field
- 2+ years experience in sales operations, investment banking,
operations consulting, or reporting/analyst role
- 1+ years work experience in SQL or other relational database
language
- 1+ years of MS Excel experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Tableau, or other data visualization/BI software
- Experience with data analysis and financial modeling
- Exposure to Salesforce.com
- Exposure to standard sales operations and advertising metrics (e.g.,
CPC, CPM, CTR, delivery, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and maturity
around senior leaders
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly analytical thinker who finds structure, logic, and insight in
complex business problems
- Top-notch quantitative, modeling, and presentation skills
- Quick study, with strong sense of curiosity and a desire to learn
- High-energy and hard-working, with a positive attitude
- Experience working in matrixed organizations
