    Location: This role can be based in either San Francisco, Sunnyvale, or New York depending on what the candidate approved for hire chooses

     

    As the Group Manager of Business Services for the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions, you’ll serve as an industry thought leader who develops and delivers innovative perspectives on how LinkedIn is transforming the way Business Services companies market and sell.  In the process, you’ll lead research initiatives, develop industry specific go to market strategies and the associated programs required to bring those strategies to fruition.  You’ll also partner closely with the sales organization to equip the field with the knowledge and tools they need to successfully grow LinkedIn’s footprint in the Business Services industries.

     

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Set LinkedIn’s overall Business Services go-to-market strategy in conjunction with sales leadership.  Lead cross-functional teams that span MarCom, Brand and Product Marketing in order to execute strategy
    • Develop and deliver Business Services industries thought leadership during sales calls, seminars and keynote addresses
    • Lead development and delivery of Account Based Marketing (ABM) programs for LinkedIn’s top Business Services enterprise accounts
    • Lead primary research initiatives to support sales pursuits, partnering with LinkedIn’s Market Research group and third-party agencies
    • Oversee LinkedIn’s Business Services Industry sales and marketing events as well as engagement in third party events

     

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 7+ years of marketing experience with focus on GTM strategy, original content development, industry research and public speaking 
    • 7+ years of experience leading cross-functional initiatives
    • 5+ years of experience as a direct manager

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Published Business Services industry research and commentary
    • Direct relationships with Business Services industry luminaries and participation in influential industry groups
    • Involvement in the organization and execution of Business Services industry events
    • 5+ years of understanding of key trends shaping the Business Services industry and associated sub verticals (e.g. hardware, software, SAAS, IOT)
