Location: This role can be based in either San Francisco, Sunnyvale, or New York depending on what the candidate approved for hire chooses.
The Group Manager will partner closely with product marketing to drive the research and insights strategy and execution for the Marketing Solutions and Sales Solutions. The ideal candidate will be both analytical and creative, has experience with behavioral data and will be collaborative and act like an owner who exemplifies Linkedin’s culture and values. This position sits in the Market Research team within the broader Marketing organization that is responsible for driving understanding of LinkedIn’s member and customer audiences. We’re excited about research leaders who have people management experience, a strong results orientation and know how to create value in an agile, fast paced, high performing environment.

Strong project management skills
Experience managing internal and external research teams
Experience working with and querying behavioral data using SQL
Solid understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methods and what method to apply to best answer the business objective
Hands-on experience and proven success in survey design, analysis and reporting
Strong business acumen, collaborative skills, and experience communicating research in concise, understandable language
Team player, collaborating and open to learning new, different methodologies and approaches to research that elevate the overall team’s capabilities
Ability to influence to help shape solutions and approaches among marketing and product teams to drive change and increase metrics
Experience in R or SPSS a plus
