    We are looking for a Workplace Performance & Innovation Intern to drive value for LinkedIn’s Real Estate strategy and workplace operational growth through strategic global initiatives. This is a position for a motivated MBA student who can collaborate, train, and demonstrate agility by supporting internal teams.  The goal of the Workplace Performance & Innovation Intern is to support projects and initiatives that lead to technology and engineering systems efficiencies.  

    As an integral part of the Global Workplace Services team, you will work collaboratively with multiple teams to assist the completion of key initiatives.  For example, you’ll investigate and calculate the impact office design parameters and workplace services have on employee productivity.  Your analysis will include statistical correlations between space design, space availability, office temperature, lighting levels, food, breakrooms, with employee engagement.  In addition, this work should also examine impact of unassigned seating on employee productivity. 

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage technical/engineering projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and partners
    • Plan, coordinate, and execute projects / tasks
    • Develop tools to evaluate project budget performance
    • Develop tools to evaluate project schedule performance
    • Manage stakeholder expectations
    • Build strategic relationships
    • Collaborate in solving challenging problems
    • Assist in development of project plans and reporting of project status
    • Research and formulate solutions.
    • Responds to calls, correspondence, and email in a timely manner.  

     

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Must be a 1st year student currently enrolled in an MBA program
    • BA/BS degree or equivalent years of field related experience
    • Students must have the ability to participate in a 12 week summer internship program

      

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, organizational and time management skills
    • Office 365 proficiency
    • Understands strategic thinking and is comfortable with thinking outside of the box. 
    • Comfortable speaking to senior staff members and senior leadership
    • Inquisitive nature and interested in discovering and learning new technologies 
    • Previous work with systems and technology, or a technical bachelor’s a plus
    • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines with little supervision
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
