We are looking for a Sr. Integration Developer, HR Technology, who will
be responsible for building, enhancing, and implementing integration
framework between HR management systems and third party systems. This
hands-on technical role demands a strong analytical, data modeling and
programming background. Preferred candidate will have experience with HR
integrations, more specifically between HR management systems (including
Workday, PeopleSoft, Oracle, SAP) and third party systems (including
Active Directory, Salesforce, Sailpoint, Jobvite, HireIn).
The successful candidate will ensure that the HR data is perfectly
synchronized among all enterprise applications through continuous
improvement of integrations, support and crisp execution of roadmap
projects. The successful candidate will also be able to evaluate new
technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, test, deploy, support, enhance back-end integration
solutions seamlessly to connect LinkedIn enterprise systems
- Innovate for the future and evaluate new Platforms (such as PaaS) to
ensure the technology solutions leverage cutting edge integration
capabilities
- Facilitate requirements gathering and process mapping workshops,
review business/functional requirement documents, author technical
design documents, testing plans and scripts
- Partner with IT, Finance, Facility to streamline and automate data
delivery and synchronization among enterprise applications
- Assist with implementing standard operating procedures, facilitate
review sessions with functional owners and end-user representatives,
leverage technical knowledge and expertise to drive improvements
- Create insightful, automated dashboards and visualizations to track
key business metrics
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years working experience in system integration development
- BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical
Engineering
- Experience with Python and Java
- Experience with object and data modeling
- Experience with with open-source databases, tools and variants (such
as Postgres, MySQL)
- Experience with integration design and development using Web
Services, SOAP, and middleware; XML XSLT and SQL
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Expert Knowlede of scripting language such as Python, Ruby, as well
as Java, C#
- Understanding of the software architecture
- Highly self-driven, execution-focused, with a willingness to be
resourceful and strategic to deliver results, as you will be
expected to rapidly cover a considerable amount of ground
- Demonstrated large-scale project management and implementation
expertise
- Understanding of development methodology and actual experience
writing functional and technical design specifications
- Experience with database and query optimization, debugging, QA
functions, user defined functions, views, indexes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in-person, by
telephone, and with large teams
- Strong prior technical, development background in either Services or
Engineering with hands-on solution design experience; experience
developing applications on top of platforms
- ERP and platform configuration implementation experience (Workday,
SAP, Siebel, Oracle, Peoplesoft)
- Comfortable with modern frameworks and technologies; ability to
mentor and work with technical team members
- Demonstrated experience resolving complex business and application
problems; performance analysis a big plus
- Supply chain management, CRM, or pricing experience is advantageous,
Workday integration experience a plus
- Ability to work cross-functionally
- Importantly, ability to be equal parts data-driven and
results-driven
