Sales Operations & Strategy, Sales Development
LinkedIn’s Sales Operations & Strategy team for Sales Development is
searching for an associate passionate about driving business growth
using data-driven insights. This role will work with LinkedIn’s global
Sales Development leadership on the most important strategic initiatives
to drive revenue growth and efficiencies.
This position is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with experience
in sales operations and analysis or corporate strategy to transition
into an instrumental operating role with LinkedIn.
Sales Development drives the sales pipeline for LinkedIn’s four
corporate business lines: Talent Solutions, Learning Solutions, Sales
Solutions and Marketing Solutions. We target every major market
globally.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work directly with senior leadership to drive strategies for Global
Sales Development
- Build reporting and visualization that drives valuable business
insights
- Drive high priority initiatives including (but not limited to)
strategic planning, process optimization, forecast modeling
- Plan and execute global initiatives and programs for maximum impact
and minimal disruption to key sales stakeholders
- Learn and use CRM tools to drive technical analysis of sales and
activities
- Deliver global operations programs that evolve and transform
LinkedIn’s sales model
- Work hand-in-hand with Marketing, Finance, and Sales
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- BA or BS degree
- 2+ years’ experience in Management Consulting, Sales Operations,
Business Analytics, Investment Banking or other quantitative &
analytically focused role
- 3 + years experience with Excel and SQL (or similar
querying language)
- 1+ year Tableau or other data visualization tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Deep experience analyzing data and the ability to use data to drive
insights and decision-making
- Strong understanding of technology and its application to improve
sales productivity thru sales process optimization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including experience
with senior management
- Strong project management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM
