LinkedIn's Business Operations team is looking for a Senior Associate to
help grow our Sales & Marketing Solutions businesses. This person will
partner with senior Marketing and cross-functional leaders to set
strategy and drive day-to-day operations for LinkedIn's second and third
largest businesses. This is a great role for someone who wants to learn
how to run a business from the ground up. The ideal candidate is equally
comfortable and skilled at crafting a thoughtful plan and at rolling
up his/her sleeves and getting stuff done.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify, scope, and execute upon strategic initiatives to support
product success and drive monetization
- Work in close partnership with marketers and a cross-functional team
(e.g., Sales, Business Analytics, Product, FP&A) to advance key
business priorities
- Define and drive analyses aimed at developing a deep and holistic
understanding of marketing performance, growth drivers, and trending
- Keep your finger on the pulse of the business to ensure it is
operating as successfully as possible, stepping in to help drive
improvements as needed
- Communicate key insights to senior executives and the
cross-functional team
- Contribute to broader corporate initiatives both on an on-going, and
on an ad-hoc basis
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years of work experience at a management consulting firm,
investment bank, private equity firm and/or technology company
- BA/BS degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Quantitative: experience building complex financial models and
conducting sophisticated analyses
- Technically proficient: experience in SQL and Tableau (or interest
in learning) a plus
- Concise communication: Able to credibly and compellingly present and
debate recommendations with senior leadership.
- Practical business understanding with genuine passion for
technology, big data, and/or entrepreneurship.
- Proactive: Independently capable of seeking information, solving
conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in
challenging situations
- High-energy, team-first attitude: Motivated to work hard in a
fast-paced, ever-changing environment to help our growing business
- A team player who works collaboratively and effectively across a
diverse set of functions, backgrounds, and working styles
- A strategic thinker with excellent business judgment and strong
product intuition
- A strong leader who can corral a group to execute against an
initiative while rolling up his or her own sleeves
- Excited about LinkedIn — and ideally, driving growth for a
subscription and/or media business (or interest in learning)
