    LinkedIn's Business Operations team is looking for a Senior Associate to help grow our Premium Subscriptions business.  This person will partner with senior leaders and the broader cross-functional team to set strategy and drive day-to-day operations for one of LinkedIn's most important businesses. This is a great role for someone who wants to learn how to run a business from the ground up. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable and skilled at crafting a thoughtful plan and at rolling up his/her sleeves and getting stuff done.

    Responsibilities:

    • Identify, scope, and execute upon strategic initiatives to support product success and drive monetization
    • Work in close partnership with a cross-functional team (Product, Engineering, Marketing, Data, FP&A) to advance key business priorities
    • Define and drive analyses aimed at developing a deep and holistic understanding of product performance, growth drivers, and trending
    • Keep your finger on the pulse of the business to ensure it is operating as successfully as possible, stepping in to help drive improvements as needed
    • Communicate key insights to senior executives and the cross-functional team
    • Contribute to broader corporate initiatives both on an on-going, and on an ad-hoc basis

     

     Basic Qualifications:

    • 4+ years of work experience at a management consulting firm, investment bank, private equity firm and/or technology company
    • BA/BS degree

     

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Quantitative: experience building complex financial models and conducting sophisticated analyses

    • Technically proficient (or interest in learning) SQL, experience a plus.

    • Concise communication: Able to credibly and compellingly present and debate recommendations with senior leadership. 

    • Practical business understanding with genuine passion for technology, big data, and/or entrepreneurship. 

    • Proactive: Independently capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations

    • High-energy, team-first attitude: Motivated to work hard in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment to help our growing business

    • A team player who works collaboratively and effectively across a diverse set of functions, backgrounds, and working styles

    • A strategic thinker with excellent business judgment and strong product intuition

    • A strong leader who can corral a group to execute against an initiative while rolling up his or her own sleeves

    • Excited about LinkedIn — and ideally, driving growth for a subscription business (or interest in learning)
