The Sales Strategy & Operations Associate is a highly visible role
within LinkedIn Learning Solutions. As a Sales Strategy & Operations
Associate, you will help make the LinkedIn Learning Sales team more
effective and productive by using a data-driven approach to crack the
most important strategic and operational issues facing the business.
This position offers a candidate with prior sales operations,
consulting, or finance experience with an exciting opportunity to act as
a partner and advisor to executives in the global sales and operations
organizations. Your data-driven insights and leadership on strategic &
operational initiatives will help influence the trajectory of the
fastest growing business in LinkedIn.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead projects with key stakeholders and cross functional partners to
make data-driven decisions on topics including: forecasting,
growth/churn strategy, territory optimization, process improvement,
sales incentive design, and product mix analysis
- Partner with sales executives on all operational and analytical
requests, e.g. team restructuring, quota setting, territory
planning, business performance analyses, etc
- Play a pivotal role in our annual strategic planning process by
making recommendations in areas such as how to restructure/grow
teams and improve rep productivity
- Establish strong working relationships with sales leadership,
business operations, systems, and other cross-functional teams to
achieve objectives without management involvement
- Gain management confidence in work such that the insights you
produce are utilized in executive presentations
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years experience in management consulting, finance, or operations
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Expertise in data analysis and financial modeling
- Experience with Salesforce.com
- Experience with Hive QL/SQL/relational databases, Hadoop, and
reporting tools like Tableau
- Ability to leverage numbers and insights to drive sound decision
making
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills and extremely high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to
confidently interact with colleagues at multiple levels
