About the Role:

The Sitterinc in Virginia Beach, VA is looking for a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team! Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that support student development

Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment for all learners

Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction as needed

Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth and milestones

Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support curriculum goals

Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student development

Implement classroom management strategies to promote a productive learning atmosphere

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field preferred

Prior experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic approach to teaching

Ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Must pass a background check in accordance with Virginia state requirements
