We're seeking an entrepreneurial, client-facing VP, Analytics who
leverages data and their own data knowledge to tell powerful business
stories, both in writing and in-person. This position requires
experience crafting custom analytics solutions that provide critical
visibility into campaigns and Client businesses, INCLUDING MEDIA MIX
MODELS, ATTRIBUTION, PREDICTIVE ANALYTICS, OPPORTUNITY SIZING, STRATEGIC
TARGETING, AND MEDIA OPTIMIZATION. The ideal candidate is a thought
leader and visionary in the adtech industry with the proven ability and
passion to power new client-valued offerings.
The right candidate will contribute to the agency’s fast-moving,
entrepreneurial culture and serve as an effective advocate, selling-in
the team’s innovative offerings to new prospects and existing clients
(and Client Leaders).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and innovate on top of the data-driven vision for the Agency’s
media and analytics offerings
- Seek out partnerships with data aggregators, media vendors,
retailers, DSPs, and Clients to deliver (and continue delivering)
best in class offerings across the media, business strategy, and
analytics ecosystem.
- Aggressively pursue strategic partnerships with media vendors and
data aggregators that will build on the Agency’s differentiated data
offerings and DMP
- Effectively productize analytics, targeting, and media offerings
that supplement Clients’ (or their Agencies’) existing capabilities
and proactively lobby sell internal and external stakeholders on the
product benefits.
- Build productive, collaborative, and successful relationships with
Client Insight, Analytics, Media, and Procurement executives
- Grow the existing talent in the analytics and media teams to
function at industry best-in-class levels while creating a team
environment that sets standards for quality, encourages
entrepreneurial energy, rewards collaboration, celebrates individual
strengths, and establishes clear paths for success.
SKILLSETS REQUIRED:
- First-hand experience with media strategy and buying, especially in
the digital space (including vendor partnerships, DSPs,
programmatic, and private exchanges)
- Drive to build innovative data solutions for our clients’ media and
analytics needs, and train and inspire teams to execute with
superior insight across our North American offices.
- Fifteen+ years of experience in CPG, retail, media, and analytics
(with some senior level agency experience strongly preferred).
- Ability to build flexible and innovative roadmap for how analytics
can be leveraged to improve the effectiveness of brand campaigns,
client relationships, and to build-up long-term proprietary
knowledge for the Agency.
- Experience with how best to address attribution to credibly assign
value to Shopper Marketing channels.
- Strong relationships within the media vendor and data
provider space. Advanced ability to seek out and secure disparate
data sources and combine them in added value ways.
- Proficiency with adtech and adtech empowering tools like DMPs, DSPs,
Tableau, campaign planners, automation and machine learning
solutions, analytics modeling.
- Expertise in communicating complex concepts and analysis in
engaging, understandable, and convincing ways, both inside and
outside of the Agency.
