    Job Description

    Job Description POSITION SUMMARY Ensure prompt and efficient service to assigned Account Executives and Mortgage Brokers. Manage assigned loan pipeline to ensure timely action, moving loans through the pipeline efficiently. Review appropriate conditions/documentation to guarantee that all underwriting requirements/conditions are satisfied prior to clear-to close. Work under immediate supervision and report to Manager, Director or VP of department.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Adhere to general work requirements
    • Manage pipeline to ensure adherence to company lending and service standards
    • Communicate with brokers to provide status of loans
    • Handle customer issues professionally and independently, escalating items when necessary
    • Request/verify accuracy of loan documentation to satisfy underwriting conditions
    • Remain current on company requirements and ensure compliance
    • Maintain clear, consistent line of communication between the broker, underwriter, funder, and
    • assigned account executives
    • Oversee disclosure requirements, hazard insurance, flood certs, verbal VOEs, closing protection
    • letters, firm HUD-1 forms, COC disclosures and appraisal logging (FHA) and case assignment results
    • (FHA), verification of NMLS #s as listed on the 1003 through NMLS website, and confirmation that all
    • parties to transaction are not on LDP/GSA list (FHA)
    • Provide back-up to loan opener, funder and underwriter when required
    • Coordinate CAIVRS/LDP/GSA/ineligible list sign-off, social security verification, order appraisal
    • reviews, and HUD-1 reconciliation (with minimal errors in any given month)
    • Attain a competent level of knowledge around products, operational procedures/processes, and
    • overall team strategy
    • Monitor aged loans to ensure that they are delivered or cancelled if needed
    • Perform other duties as assigned

    GENERAL SKILLS

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to provide outstanding customer service in fast paced environment
    • Proficient working knowledge of computerized applications such as word processing, spreadsheet,
    • database, presentation software, email, and specialized business applications software
    • Ability to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and/or facilitate discussions with all levels of
    • management
    • Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers,
    • other business areas, and government agencies as required
    • Ability to read and interpret complex reports and documents
    • Planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • High school diploma or GED
    • 3-5 years of experience in mortgage loan processing, underwriting, and/or funding
    • 3-5 years of experience working in a production residential lending environment
    • Encompass software and/or experience working with automated loan processing/closing software
