MAD Hospitality, LLC was formed to develop hospitality concepts for Thomas Preston Real Estate, LLC located in Madison, GA. Madison, GA is one of the most beautiful, historic Georgia cities and is located one hour east of Atlanta, and thirty minutes from Athens, GA and Lake Oconee. Madison has a small town feel but with a big city appreciation for great food and beverage. MAD Hospitality provides the residents and visitors to Madison with an experience that is highlighted with creative and high-quality venues delivered in unique, historic settings. While headquartered in Madison, MAD Hospitality, LLC is also developing projects in other Georgia cities including Lake Oconee, Milledgeville and Atlanta. Our central location allows us to benefit from the familiarity of a small town while at the same time continuing to stay connected to the larger metropolitan feel of Atlanta.
MAD Hospitality is looking for a successful, talented, and creative Hospitality Operations manager to help develop and oversee a series of hospitality operations. This individual will be hands on and will be the “face” of the MAD Hospitality operations team. Our current projects include several restaurants, an event space and a motel property. As Hospitality Operations Manager, you will be involved in all phases of these projects and others as they come online. The potential for professional growth is very high for the right individual. RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibility for execution of the following:
· Planning and directing operational activities for all venues.
· Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff members in the various operations.
· Sourcing, ordering, receiving, storing and proper inventory reconciliation for all needed supplies.
· Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs as needed.
· Perform administrative duties as assigned.
· Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
· Work with senior leadership to help develop new projects as they become available
REQUIREMENTS
· Proven work experience as a food and beverage manager
· Proven work experience in the lodging industry
· Excellent record of employee training and development
· Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
· Capable of delegating multiple tasks
· Communication and leadership skills
· Keep up with the latest Food and Beverage and Lodging trends and best practices
· Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, inventory software, POS, PMS)
· BS degree in hospitality management, a related certificate, or documented industry experience in a similar role.
