    SUMMARY:

     

    As a Creative Director you will be one of the vital leaders in the Creative team. You will manage teams of writers, art directors, and designers to ensure the agency's work meets our high standards of excellence. You must be capable of coming up with big ideas that can be executed across all channels. You also must be a persuasive presenter, a diplomatic mediator and be able to effectively communicate across all departments.

     

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    • A bachelor’s degree in advertising or other-related field
    • 12+ years within the agency world creating great work
    • A strong and varied portfolio of work; award-winning work preferred
    • Experience in all facets of marketing communication including television, radio, print, digital, social
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Impeccable writing skills across multiple formats
    • Problem solver and collaborator
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Ability to prioritize and manage work, adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment 
    • Ability to operate independently and to multi-task under tight deadlines
    • Have a strong understanding of how an agency runs from a business perspective
    • Experience in understanding role of data in driving creative (and vice versa)
    • Must be proactive about clients’ problems
    • Experience scoping creative projects with project managers and producers, creating staffing plans with project managers and producers; understand staff utilization and allocations
    • Ability to provide innovative creative vision

     

     

    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Collaborate with account/strategy and production teams to ensure a satisfactory answer to a client’s brief, demonstrating a best-in-class marketing and/or business product that meets our standards for innovation and quality
    • Cultivate strong partnership with strategy to solve client problems both strategically and innovatively
    • Oversee all creative development from concept to final delivery, guiding all writing, design, usability and storytelling along the way
    • Assign creative teams best suited for each project based on ability and workload
    • Manage multiple projects and seamlessly work alongside fellow team members including account management, project management, media, pr/social and production
    • Lead, manage, mentor, and motivate writers, art directors, and designers
    • Build and maintain strong client relationships and work to deepen their knowledge of branding 
    • Actively mine/participate in new business with account management for current and prospective clients
    • Identify the conceptual and strategic direction for various projects, and clearly present those ideas to the team and the client 
    • Work to address performance, workflow, and quality issues and develop long-range plans for the creative practice
