About the Role:

Finest Supermarket is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Produce Clerk/Associate to join our team in Fredericksburg, VA! This is a great opportunity to be part of a hands-on, fast-paced environment where you'll play a key role in delivering fresh, high-quality produce to our customers every day.

Responsibilities:

Stock, rotate, and maintain fresh produce displays to ensure product quality and freshness

Inspect incoming produce shipments for quality and report any discrepancies

Keep the produce department clean, organized, and visually appealing

Assist customers with product selection, questions, and special requests

Monitor and maintain proper pricing and signage throughout the department

Remove damaged or expired product and follow proper disposal procedures

Collaborate with team members to meet department goals and customer satisfaction standards

Requirements:

Previous experience in grocery, retail, or produce handling is a plus but not required

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Strong attention to detail with a focus on product quality and freshness

Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Friendly, customer-focused attitude with good communication skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
