    Seattle-based Vulcan Inc. is looking for DIRECTOR, TECHNICAL PRODUCT MARKETING to join the Impact Team.

    THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS ROLE WILL HAVE

    • Proven experience in building and managing product marketing function
    • Subject matter expertise on building SaaS and hardware products
    • Demonstrated product marketing experience with a proven track record of working closely with engineering, business development, and product management teams
    • Exceptional communication skills and experience with analysts, press and executives
    • Analytical & problem-solving skills to dissect & work through complex challenges
    • Business acumen to help accelerate the adoption of new products

     

    THE KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS WE FIND VALUABLE FOR THIS ROLE

    • 12+ years experience in technical product marketing, go-to-market strategy, or product management for a high tech company
    • Experience in marketing and communicating core technologies to internal and external audiences
    • Proven ability to set a vision, excite and lead cross-functional multidisciplinary teams to achieve a product vision
    • Experience and effective in high-stress, challenging customer situations
    • Strong affinity for metrics and a bias toward data-driven decision making
    • Hands-on ability to create a range of product marketing assets (messaging framework, customer collateral, sales collateral, web content, email campaigns, etc.)
    • Self-motivated individual capable of working in a face-paced, startup environment Preferred Requirements

     

    AS A MEMBER ON OUR TEAM YOU WILL

    • Define the go-to-market strategy for Vulcan’s Products
    • Work with product managers and executive leadership team to define product value propositions, positioning and messaging, customer testimonials and case studies
    • Create product storylines, content, and demos to bring product truths to life and support readiness
    • Engage and influence internal stakeholders across engineering, product, business development, PR/AR, and field teams
    • Engage with Executive Leadership Team at all levels

     

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATIONS/COMPUTER SKILLS

    • Master’s degree (M.B.A.) from accredited institution and plus 12 years relevant experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
    • MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
