  • Responsibilities

    Job Summary:

    Process AOG (Aircraft on Ground) orders from customers that have urgent inventory needs

    after normal business hours and or on weekends and holidays.

    Locate stock and proceed with inspection of physical goods & documentation, making sure to meet our company’s quality and Conformity Standards.

    Coordinate with sales and the customer to ensure any discrepancies are addressed quickly.

    Prepare stock for immediate pick up by the customer or their assigned

    transportation company.

    Ensure all company security processes and policies are followed.

    Receives, picks, stores, and distributes aircraft parts and non-aircraft, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

    Candidates must possess abilities to work independently and be self-reliant, ensuring all

    aspects of safety first.

     

    Essential Functions:

    • Prepare AOG sales orders by processing pick tickets; pulling materials; packing boxes

    and invoicing

    • Coordinates with external customers, internal sales team and outside freight forwarders

    to activate pick up of parts

    • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items

    to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.

    • Assist in performing internal audit of company procedures and processes.

    • Assist with receiving inspection of merchandise from PO’s and RO’s as needed

    • Locating and pulling stock to the designated area for processing.

    • File requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and

    distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.

    • Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.

    • Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer

    program.

    • Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments.

    • Sweep, dust, mop, organize, maintain and upkeep the warehouse and work area for

    cleanliness at all times.

    • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    • Maintain quality service by following organization Quality Management Standards.

    • May be assigned to facilities maintenance, material handling and put-away as needed.

    • Responsible for securing safety of the entire building after hours such as closing and

    opening gates.

    • Assist sister companies/other departments with functions after hours as needed.

    QA Inspection Functions:

    • Weigh, count and inspect items for damage/discrepancies to ensure conformance to

    customers’ and company’s standards.

    • Check and verify all the appropriate documentation are with the inventory that is being

    sent to the customer and signing the documentation that requires a signature.

    • Ensure material and documentation have met the customer’s requirements.

    • Verify if inventory has a shelf-life, is hazardous, or contains static sensitive material.

    • Assist in verifying the accuracy of the information inputted into the system for various

    inventory.

    Order Processing Functions:

    • Processing and invoicing Customer’s Purchase Order through ERP system, preparing

    required documents for customer’s order, and creating shipment label through various

    carrier FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc.

    • Assist customer/sales with scheduling a pickup by a transportation company If needed

    to ensure they receive their order in a timely manner.

    • Communicate with sales and the customer any discrepancies that came up during the

    inspection process.

    Warehouse Support Functions:

    • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets/shelves or relocate

    orders to a holding area or shipping department.

    • Utilize equipment such as the pallet jack, cherry-picker, or forklift to move inventory as

    needed.

    • Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching

    purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to associates for processing.

    • Help locate inventory that may have been misplaced or inputted incorrectly in the

    system.

    • Assist driver who is picking up inventory, by verifying what they are picking up and that

    they are from the correct company.

    • Processing and invoicing Customer’s Purchase Order through ERP system, preparing

    required documents for customer’s order, and creating shipment label through various

    carrier FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc.

    • Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing

    boxes; placing orders in delivery area.

    • Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.

    • File requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and

    distribute items to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.

    • Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.

    • Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer

    program.

    • Wear the proper safety equipment as required.

    • Assist in counting and movement of physical inventory.

    • Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • A high school diploma or GED preferred.

    • 3-6 years experience with parts inspection

    • A US Person status as defined by ITAR Regulations.

    • QA Inspection Stamp Holder

    • Industrial Truck Safety Certification (Required to Operate Forklifts/Cherry-picker
