• Performed thermal analysis at the system, subsystem, and component levels on the Orion crew module to verify component temperatures against acceptance and qual limits for the Artemis 1 & 2 missions. • Assisted with Artemis 1 TVAC test preparation and monitoring for the months of December to February. • Aided and verified thermocouple installation through touch tests. • Monitored sensitive component temperatures on Dynavac TDAS (thermal data acquisition system). • o Created tools and made time-sensitive decisions to protect sensitive components (heat shield, batteries, avionics boxes) from hot and cold extremes. • Wrote MATLAB script to interface with Lockheed Unix data storage servers. Automated the process of pulling vacuum chamber test data for TVAC model correlation efforts using MATLAB objects for data storage and organization. • Assisted in correlating Thermal Desktop model to TVAC test data.
