I had the pleasure of working for a non-profit that provides recreation, education, and advocacy for children and adults with disabilities. In that capacity, I ran the office in accordance with a board’s instruction. I supervised and performed general office duties (answered phone, paid bills, scheduled repairs, tidied up, etc.); I also maintained and/or created organizational literature and databases (memberships, fees, grants, fundraisers) and actively sought to inform the community and potential members of the awesome mission of The Arc.
