Fun Fact

I taught myself how to cross stitch so that I could have a hobby I loved as an adult--I'm still doing new research to learn more tips and tricks! My longest project so far took five months to complete, and it helped me get a handle on new techniques like backstitching. I also made my own pattern!

Passion

I'm passionate about helping my students find confidence in their writing skills and learn to enjoy working with the English literature and language. My overall goal is to become a professor of Victorian literature, and I'm motivated to get there with every new course I teach!
