In high school, I brought Denim Day, a sexual assault awareness campaign named after a case in which a victim was blamed for her own rape because she was wearing jeans, to campus by organizing classmates to hang posters around school dispelling misconceptions of sexual assault. I still participate.
I am passionate about social justice and want to use my career as a way to drive change. By driving a more equitable distribution of capital to women, people of color, and underserved markets, I believe society will benefit.
