• Develop engaging content for the COMM Central page to be published in the COMM newsletter such as restaurant reviews, latest news, and opinion articles on various topics catered towards a diverse audience • Compile a weekly report of completed tasks to my faculty supervisor to take direction in a timely manner and summarize incoming articles or duties for a writing portfolio • During fall of 2018, I signed up to do a writing piece of the #COMMTogether for Career Success Event, a networking mixer arranged by our social media team and the COMM Network Club, consisting of eight panelists who were recruiters from companies such as NVIDIA, ServiceNow, VTA, and SJSU. My write-up covered informational highlights that gave advice to job-seeking individuals looking for networking opportunities, building resumes, forming a LinkedIn account, and other communicative strategies to contact recruiters, all extracted through our panelists who were able to motivate both attendees and professors in the audience of our event
