I was raised in a small farming town of 1,000 people where I graduated high school with only 11 classmates. I was team captain and lead programmer of the local robotics team and competed in the super-regional competition against the top third of the country in the FIRST Tech Challenge.
As a first-gen student with Mexican immigrant parents, my journey in computer science is fueled by their sacrifices and dreams. Embracing their values of hard work and perseverance, I'm poised to transform challenges into innovative solutions, aspiring to inspire future generations.
