Worked on developing a robotics solution for the Naval Air Systems Command involving programming and building an autonomous robot. Which was tasked with waste disposal and repositioning items in the aftermath of a hurricane in a Florida Theme Park. I was responsible for working on improving the object detection model and programming sensors used for the alignment of the robot's arm, color detection, wall avoidance, and navigation. The robot won 2nd place at the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers SoutheastCon Hardware Competition among 30 competing teams.
