Worked as a full stack developer dealing with data engineering and cloud technologies.
• Leveraged AWS EMR running Apache Spark for Data Engineering trade records. Peak load at 100M records.
• Designed and built a Horizontally Scaling solution using AWS Lambda and EventBridge for settling trades done within the Fidelity ecosystem. Business reports were generated 50% faster and with more reliability.
• Built several subsystems using AWS Lambda, Amazon SNS and SQS that supported error reporting activities.
• Designed and prototyped the core logic for the Billing System in Python and later converted it into Java. The core processed 50,000 records every 5 mins with 1000 instances running in parallel.
