• Designing post tensioning systems for temporary and permanent applications. • Researching CALTRANS and other state DOT's specifications as well as ASTM specs, before bidding for accurate cost estimation, and during project execution for assuring constant quality. • Visiting vendor facilities to perform production and quality audits. • Designed a test frame for our shop to test the tensile and compressive strength of materials such as bridge bearings, anchor heads and post tension bearing plates. • San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Decommissioning Project • Prepared JHA’s and work plans for Unit 2 and Unit 3 of San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station. • Scheduled activities for SDI’s scope of work and allocation of resources. • Coached craft to follow safe work practices with pre-job briefs and safety meetings.
