Patient Care Technician

-Provide consistent basic patient care - obtaining/recording vital signs and input/output measurements, bathing/clothing, feeding -Provide routine treatment procedures, including blood draws, stage I/II wound care -Perform hourly safety rounding and handle patient requests to reduce the risk of falls -Perform sanitation/cleaning procedures as needed to maintain clean patient care rooms and equipment/instruments -Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and their families in accordance with Hospital standards/guidelines -Report potential/actual patient safety concern and medical errors -Encourage and educate patients of the importance of actively participating in their own care by asking questions and reporting treatments they need more clarification on
