- Duties
- Registered Nurse competent in providing accountability for patient care and safety, reviewing patient needs with charge nurse, nurse manager and physicians, completing required reports and charting, nursing interventions and emergency response, communicating health care decisions and protocols to patients, supervisors and management. Daily responsibilities include: Care for patients' assignments, patient assessments, accountability and documentation of narcotics auditing reports, Student Charge nurse for Nurse Huddle meetings, Safety monitor for preventing patient falls or accidents, triage and document new admissions, supported post conference communication for personnel issues, keep medical staff abreast of patient care developments, protocol changes or pending emergency responses
- Participated in two code blue and emergency response protocols for JACHO preparation for clinical rotation
- Expanded knowledge base by rotating duties in ER, ICU, NICU, Interventional Radiology, and stroke unit
- Focused on completing patient assessments with "safety first" mindset
