As a first-generation college student, I have to pay for my own college tuition aside with family responsibilities. This is significant because as a young adult with immigrant and low-income parents, I am a non-stop worker who wants to receive a bachelor's degree.
My passion is to help local communities who are underrepresented and strive for social justice. For instance, I provide individuals with resources such as scholarships, legal assistance, and fund applications. In addition, I assist youth members with school work, and translate for Spanish speakers.
