• Leading a research project aimed to understand the signaling mechanisms by which Hematopoietic Stem Cells (HSCs) self-renew and differentiate, specifically looking at the Nrf2-Atf4-Erk pathway. The ultimate goal is to devise novel pharmacological molecules, culture techniques, and expansion technologies of HSCs to revolutionize treatment of hematological diseases • Preparations of HSCs cultured with ER stress compounds, production of lentivirus particles for HSC transduction, run PCR and Western Blots, maintain donor and competition mice colonies
