Fun Fact
I worked at Walmart after finishing my BS degree. I could not apply for an engineer position because I had no USA degree. I paid for my GRE and IELTS with that money. I used to work during the day while preparing for my tests and apply to universities at night.
Passion
As the first female grad student in my family, I did not always have the right opportunity to push the boundaries. I am passionate about scientific research, which will help us protect nature, not destroy it. Materials and their potential to shape the future in many ways fascinates me.
